After years of running one of Springvale’s top steakhouses, Tungthit Sizzling Steak, we built a reputation around one concept: uncompromising quality. We worked to source only the best quality meat because we learned that flavour always starts with what you put on the grill. Over time, we found ourselves asking a new question — what would happen if we brought that same mindset with our talented team of chefs to one of our favourite everyday foods?

That question became Banh Mi and Grill by Tungthit.

Bánh mì has always been about balance: fresh bread, rich spreads, grilled meats, herbs, and crunch. We wanted to honour the soul of a traditional Vietnamese bánh mì while elevating it with what we know best — high-quality meat and careful preparation. Our meats are charcoal grilled for depth and smokiness, and we serve our pâté hot, made fresh every day, so it melts into the bread the way it’s meant to.
